not vocally though....

but yeah , both Dylan and Young (perhaps the 2 most notoriously 'bad' singers from a traditional sense have absolutely stellar live albums)

Dire Straits have amazing live albums, that doesn't mean Knoplfer is a vocal god, you know?

Obviously, Dylan is no vocal master. Still, I would prefer hearing him sing than any of the people on this list.

Every Dire Straits live performance is pure gold, Beast.

Oh, Gray, that's nothing strange, I would also prefer Knoplfer than many people on this list.

Oh, yes, he can be so emotional with his husky voice. Btw, there are some great links to check in his thread on guitarists forum!
His best performance for me definitely is Brothers In Arms, his voice is perfect there!

Yes, I do know Heavy Fuel.

Their best stuff is the midtempo stuff though, Sultans, Tunnel Of Love, Lady Writer.
I got their disco recently, but haven't listen through it yet. And yeah, I know the feeling when every song is a fave!

again, cant decide, its just about impossible ...

my fave performance of Straits is probably Once upon a time in the west from Alchemy, just about everything is awesome, but the way the songs builds and grows from every part is the best thing about it. Was a great opener for the album

Oh, there's no way I can pick a single best performance, although the live Sultans I said was the best probably still is my favourite.

Definitely worthy for top 40!

Stanley is terrible. He can't even stay in tune! Just my opinion of course.

Maybe in the early days he struggled a bit. But his stuff in the 80's was ridiculously good.

He was never bad but during 80's and 90's he was AMAZING.
