And if they play next Super Bowl halftime, too
Well, they will have to settle with the Polar Prize (AKA the Nobel Prize for music) and other boring awards. They are old.

Meanwhile, those appearances didn't seem to help your favorite band too much, since they still fail to get a spot on "greatest live artist" music polls, like NME's poll: The Greatest Live Band Ever (http://www.nme.com/news/muse/65720) (yes, I know it's a shitty poll, but I still find relevant that they didn't translate into the collective consciousness [of NME's readers] as one of the greatest live band, as did Queen, ACDC, LZ, Jimi Hendrix or The Rolling Stones).

Even though they were old, there was no Bonzo, and it's not an amazing gig, this news about the Led Zeppelin film of the 02 gig still really excites me and brings out the little 15 year old who fell in love with them. Definitely seeing it in the cinemas.

Lucky ***! That trailer sounds tremendous!

The Who's bigger in the USA than in their own country these days.

Anyway, congrats to Led Zeppelin on the Kennedy Center Honor. They deserve it.

That's what makes the awards for Elton John, Paul McCartney, The Who and Led Zeppelin all the more impressive. The Rolling Stones can't be far behind.

It might be somewhat cliche to say it at this point, but yeah I can never get tired of Dazed.
Top 5 LZ song for me.

It'll be another year or two before I can go back (of my own will) and listen to it again. It doesn't have very much replay value, or instant appeal, compared to more of their other work.

That said, still great song.

It's probably not even a top 5 track from their debut for me, as amazing as it is. How Many More Times, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Good Times Bad Times, and You Shook Me are all better, and Your Time Is Gonna Come and Communication Breakdown are at least on the same level. But it's still a phenomenal song.
