I'll show you mine if you show me yours. For anyone who is interested PLEASE look up Laszlo Gardony. He is a very tasteful and entertaining pianist and his most recent album ("Signature Time") was a real treat.

Henry Threadgill - Rag, Bush, and All (1988)

This is avant-garde jazz more than it's anything else, except for the fact that it always seems to be at least somewhat danceable. The bass on this is crazy. Full of dense compositions that are endlessly interesting.

You can do some random searches to see what you like and what you don't, but here's a short list of some jazz that I've been listening to lately:

Jaga Jazzist
Peter Evans Quintet
Indigo Jam Unit
Freddie Hubbard
Pharoah Sanders
Colin Stetson
The Dead Kenny G's

Freddie Hubbard is one of my favorite trumpeters. Excellent choice.
