I must say I find the selection of the Woody Allen films very strange.

Annie Hall is a given, obviously, but the other ones are Take the Money and Run, Banannas, Sleeper and Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex...?! Woody has far more acclaimed and popular films than all of these.

Surely Manhattan, Hannah and her Sisters, Crimes and Misdemenours etc. should be on the list instead of those?

Shouldn't Monty Python's The Life Of Brian be much higher than 77?

Life of Brian is artistically better than Holy Grail, but Holy Grail had such an impact on comedy (even though I agree that LoB is actually funnier)

It could do quite a few spots higher, though

Bananas and Sleeper I totally understand and will defend their inclusion on this list. Take the Money and Run to a lesser extent. But "Everything..." is indeed a strange choice.

Yeah the Beverly Hillbillies definitely shouldn't be on this list.

Though Jim Varney was a great Jed Clampet.

why so low on Our Idiot Brother? I'm a big comedy buff, and i've seen all of those movies, and I think it was one of the tops, just as good as Bridesmaids IMO and much better than the Hangover 2 (which I thought was awful, even as just a comedy).

Cedar Rapids also deserves to be on there, that was a great movie and a well executed comedy. Your Highness should also be mentioned, even though that movie was really dumb it was alot funnier than Johnny English :freak:

Looks good. I'd probably have Bridesmaids at #1, though. It had the biggest laugh-out-loud moments of the year, is highly acclaimed, and is hugely popular.
