Why should they be inducted for putting out one great album?

Alright you got me there. But when are Derek & The Dominos ever regarded among great rock acts? Whenever you talk about the album or Layla people are bound to mostly think of Eric Clapton. The album was very big but you never hear the band cited as an influence.

The Sex Pistols did not really have an "album." Seven of the twelve tracks came from previously released singles.
