What if Nile Rodgers shows up to give the induction speech for Donna Summer, meets Rush, and produces their next album? I have a feeling Jann Wenner is going to give the induction speech for Quincy Jones. |

Maybe it will actually be Giorgio Moroder who gives the induction speech for Donna Summer, if not Nile Rodgers. Giorgio Moroder: Daft Punk's New Album Is 'A Step Forward' for Dance Music Italian producer kicks off new video series http://www.rollingstone.com/music/video ... z2PUFp6vIv It would make lots of sense if Jann Wenner gave the induction speech for Quincy Jones ARTISTS INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME BY JANN WENNER 01. 1987 Jerry Wexler 02. 1987 Ahmet Ertegun 03. 2006 Sex Pistols |

Because of her success on the mickey mouse club, isn't she responsible for the success of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera? And for that matter Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers? What about Frankie Avalon? Influencing how performers are marketed isn't Hall-worthy, and anyway it's not as though Justin, Britney, or Christina really went directly from the MMC to the pop charts. |

I'm pretty shocked that they included Griff after his infamous anti-Semitic remarks (which he has since apologized for). It's not as if he were all that important to PE musically anyway. |
