I'd definitely switch "Come On, Let's Go", which was just another Valens cover for the movie soundtrack, though I understand and can respect the fact that it was a hit in a career that unfortunately had few of them, with their own "I Got Loaded". Much more representative of who they were and where their appeal lies.

I don't think all of the songs you mentioned have to be on there, though I doubt that there are 4 songs from the late '60s that are more deserving than all their later songs apart from our top 6. Maybe you didn't mean 4. A second late '60s song might be good, however.

Yeah, I think if anything from Animals were included, it would be just for the sake of representing the album, that if you take each song on its own, no Animals song is quite top 10.

It's close. Both "Juke Joint Jezebel" and "A Drug Against War" are big hits for the band, though "JJJ" is the band's most popular song, having sold more copies than any of their other recordings--as well as being featured in two major films (Bad Boys and Mortal Kombat).

In addition, the song was ranked #23 on COMA Music Magainze's '101 Greatest Industrial Songs of All Time' list, while "A Drug Against War" was ranked #47.

"A Drug Against War" may have gotten a little extra MTV exposure through a Beavis & Butt-head episode, but I'd still give the edge overall to "Juke Joint Jezebel".

Wow...that's so different from what I would have said from my USA-centric perspective. Not that that's necessarily the right perspective, but the fact, for example, that "Saturday Night" is by far their biggest record here and "Give A Little Love" never did anything to me means that the former should be number one. I think I'd find a spot for "Rock And Roll Love Letter" too.

For the Cheap Trick list, I'd actually put "I Want You To Want Me" at number one.

I could see adding "RnR Love Letter", but if so, since YMMBiM is at #10, I'll point out that I wouldn't drop that to make room for it. AoMLAoY could maybe be dropped.
