Kill the King is more important to metal genre than Gates of Babylon (in particular to power metal). Even tho GoB is musically better song overall, KtK takes importance and popularity.
Neon Knights should be higher also as the first single from H&H.
All in all, the list is great, I couldn't agree more with first 4 places and song choice for the top 10.

About Candlemass list - top 3 is perfect, and all I can ask for is putting Sorcerer's Pledge higher.
I don't know that much as you guys about TON, so I won't comment on their list.

Shouldn't we be excluding his Sabbath material?

Yeah, Dio is separate from Black Sabbath.

It's list for a person (or God, however you call him), not for a band. That's why you see 3 bands in. The question is, is this list really needed? We got seperate lists for Dio/Rainbow/BS already.

Nesquik and I had this discussion a long ass time ago. It's Dio the band and nothing else.

Alright, Jeez, I was just making a list for fun since Ronnie James Dio is my favorite musical artist. If you want to ignore it, go right ahead.

Nobody's ignoring you, it's just pointless to include Sabbath songs because Sabbath already have their own list.

Now, since this is about Dio solo, I'd think that Dont Talk To Strangers should be in there.

For what it's worth, I think Heaven & Hell, Sign of the Southern Cross, Children of the Sea and the like belong on a Dio list more than a Sabbath list.

So who wants to make a Steve DiGiorgio list?

It is not a DIO or Dio solo list, it is clearly labelled Ronnie James Dio.

Now that a couple of you have agreed with this statement, what is the reasoning? All of these songs were written by Iommi and Dio and performed by Black Sabbath.
