Moanin (hard) Voodoo Child (respect to Hallowed, but easy) Also Freth the production on Voodoo Child is one of the best things about it. Honestly the production on Hallowed is way worse imo. |

Voodoo Child has some of the best use of stereophonic sound I've ever heard, which is even more impressive for the era when most stereo recordings sucked. Jimi's guitar sounds like a fucking wild beast that even he can barely control, swelling and fading back and galloping all over the soundstage. With that said I'll throw a vote Voodoo Child. Charles Mingus - Moanin' Joanna Newsom - Emily Not a big fan of these fellas, Moanin' is simply better. Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child (Slight Return) Really, really, really tough. Choose Hallowed 'cause is the best song by Maiden and maybe even the best metal song. Voodoo Child is fantastic but it's not by favourite by Jimi, so that's what makes it for Hallowed. But again, not an easy one. |
