And yes, having similar taste in music to many people's dad's is why I don't talk about my musical interests too often.

Although there influence on Rush and Maiden were a bit more muted.

Holy shit, that 50 Cent song is atrocious. That is the lamest fucking attempt at a vocal melody I have ever heard. NOTHING works in that song on any level, whatsoever. :facepalm:

I didn't think that song was that terrible actually. Bad, sure. But if I have to listen to Cornell, might as well be over some subpar Timbo than Soundgarden.

I agree Soundgarden is generally mediocre but that song is just a piece of shit. Sub par doesn't begin to describe the production there (that's basically his F game there) but it's got incredibly shitty lyrics that play very prominently in the song, is repetitive, and has a boring vocal line.
