I do that through my posts on DDD all the time. Am I a great artist?

i'm dead serious. i'm falling in love with Bjork. and i don't think it's close. i don't know anything about Yoko's music, but if it's as good as Bjork's, then we should hate Lennon for fucking up her legacy rather than the other way around.

Wow I didn't know there were people who hated John Lennon's poetry/politics other than ultra conservatives :freak:

How are Beatles fans being unfair to Yoko in any way John's fault?

you are, without question, one of the greatest posters in DDD history. and yeah, you have exactly what it takes to be a great artist. i think in order to be a great artist, you would have to have some sort of craft... an outlet to organize your vulnerability and honesty in a creative way. because art isn't only about what you say, but also how you say it. but yeah, you could be a great artist. give it a shot.

his political ideas are just articulately-crafted straw men arguments. he paints his political opponents with the broadest brush available. not to mention the level of hypocrisy he's guilty of is astounding.

well for one, sitting in a mansion writing "imagine no possessions" would qualify.

You have no reason to like Yoko any more than him then.

or claiming all you want is for everyone to live in harmony, and then characterizing all religious people as idiots, all conservatives as greedy, etc. how can someone claim to have love for all people and then condescendingly bash most of them?
