Batman's opinion is far too generous to MBDTF

"My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" was only worth listening to during the middle of the hype-storm. Minus a few good beats, it's relatively useless in 2012.

I still like listening to it every now and again, but yeah I agree

Please post some Rush lyrics that you consider noxious.

We've taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It's one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

I love MBDTF even more than I did during the hype-storm. One of my favourite albums ever.

This thread is tiresome.

Agreed. It gets better with every listen.

And yet despite such lyrics.

2112 > 30 minutes of Can masturbating in a recording room.

Rush was a great band for about five years.

Woops, six years. I thought 2112 came out in '77 for some reason. Moving Pictures is easily their best.

No way, this thread rules. It's had over thirty pages of discussion without the aid of a multi-page argument or a bruce post. This thread isn't supposed to be "try your best to piss everyone off," it's supposed to be "say something you truly believe but usually refuse to say out of fear." I mostly made it as a reaction to the "objectively good music" thread.
