I'm more into soul and blues but I listen to jazz too.

Recently I've been exploring some of the artists softer rock scene I've never really paid attention to before, but always had massive respect for them...now that I've started listening to them, I really admire them, guys like Sting, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Elton John...are all guys of highest artistic value who are making such brilliant music which should appeal to everyone with a good music taste. Those are the guys which should enter the books of musical education in the future.

..was talking with a friend and musing about ... wouldn`t it have been interesting if Jimi Hendrix had recorded material with Margie Hendrix (born Hendricks and no relation to JH used Hendrix as a stage name) .... often felt Joplin patterned a portion of her vocal style off after her .... from 1958, if anyone might be interested, check out her vocals in the latter portion of this Ray Charles classic ...
