Kickin In sounds exactly like a song I've heard before but I can't think of what it is.

I think it sounds quite a bit like "Raspberry Beret" (Prince) Which I love so it's all good for me! :wink:

Raspberry Beret? No that's not it, but it does sound a bit like Prince, maybe like Delirious or something like that.

But no, the song I'm thinking about sounds exactly like "Kickin In". So much so, that I hope he doesn't get sued.

I can't figure it out though, but it was probably something I was listening to during my LSD days (late 90s).

:lol: THAT just might be it Val. While you were trippin'....you time-traveled. Been there..done that! :thumb:
(BEFORE the '90's, lol)
Well, I don't know what song it could be but even George Harrison was guilty once of "unconscious plagiarism" so it'll all work out. :cheers:

@Val
wouldnt dare to suggest that you possibly might have listened to Justin Timberlake, but with Kickin' in I always hear something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUuKvHHt8Sk

or possibly some other Timberlakey thing....

Looks like someone isolated the backing vocal track on Kickin In. What do you guys think?

Are you sure that's all Adam? Sounds like 3 different people. I'm impressed if it is.

Don't listen to Timberlake, but yeah, I can see the resemblance though. I've given up on trying to figure out the song I'm thinking about.
