Lyrically I connect with the 2007-2011 era of Radiohead much more than the 1997-2003 era (although obviously this is complicated by a lack of official lyrics*; who knows exactly what the fuck Thom is singing in "Reckoner", but what I think he's singing is amazing).

*I realize that some of these releases had official lyrics in other countries and editions and such but so many of them are obviously wrong that they can't be counted.

1. Like Spinning Plates/Life in a Glasshouse
2. Dollars & Cents
3. Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box
4. Knives Out
5. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
6. I Might Be Wrong
7. Hunting Bears
8. Morning Bell
9. Pyramid Song
10. You and Whose Army

Morning Bell could go up or down after I do a side by side listen of it and the Kid A version.

I'm baffled by your low rating of Pyramid Song.

As far as Radiohead ballads go, I think it is one of the least interesting both musically and lyrically. It feels like they are trying to move me, instead of just moving me.

1. OK Computer (pretty definitively the best rock album there is)

2-5. The Bends / Kid A / In Rainbows / The King of Limbs (classic albums)

6-7. Amnesiac / Hail to the Thief (half great, half meh)

8. Pablol Honey

6. Life in a Glass House
7. Knives Out
8. Morning Bell/Amnesiac
9. Pyramid Song
10. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors

Ordering the top 8 is really hard because I love all of them. And I like the last three a lot as well. Great album, still underrated.

Lyrics in the booklet to my copy (US release as far as I can tell) seem pretty obviously right if you listen to the song while reading along to them:

Reckoner
You can't take it with you
Dancing for your pleasure

You are not to blame for
Bittersweet distractor
Dare not speak it's name
Dedicated to all human beings

Because we separate like ripples on a blank shore
(Background: in rainbows)
Because we separate like ripples on a blank shore
(Background: in rainbows)

Reckoner
Take me with you
Dedicated to all human beings

Good placement of Pyramid Song relative to the other classically regarded as not filler songs on the album, but I will never understand the universal low placement of Pulk/Pull. I think it is more interesting lyrically than most on the album and has a great sense of forward movement. Certainly I like it more than something like You and Whose Army, whose halfhearted climax feels like an insufficient apology for the first half of the song.

I used to love I Might Be Wrong, but on my latest listen it really underwhelmed me. Too repetitive—lots of the other songs on the album develop way more interestingly.

My current Amny playlist (subject to extensive revision) is:

1. Packt
2. Fog
3. Pulk/Pull
4. Knives Out
5. Dollars & Cents
6. Like Spinning Plates
7. Life in a Glass House

I guess those Reckoner lyrics are right.

I think I like Pulk/Pull about as much as it can be liked, which is a lot. I disagree with you greatly about You And Whose Army, which I find to be totally satisfying.

My Amnesiac listening is very polarized. There are times where I think each song is great and the album as a whole is just wonderful, and then there are listens where I think only half of it was actually worth my time. But two things remain constant: Fog should have been on the album, and I like Pulk/Pull more than some of the purportedly more "real" songs on the album.
