i listenend to that album yesterday cuz of the bnm, it was alright. As far as I'm concerned tho, Danny Brown had the best rap release of the year. That dude's gonna be huge

XXX was my favorite rap album this year too! Unless you count Drake's new album, but he seems to rap less and less often.

Anyone listened to Take Care? I think it's pretty darn good - way better than his first album.

Yeah, it's a long album, but there's definitely a handful of great highlights - the opener, the tracks with the Weeknd, the track with Rick Ross (brilliant beat from Just Blaze) and the one with Lil Wayne and Andre 3000.

I listened to the first song. His lyrics are still hilarious. "Thought I met the woman of my dreams at a strip club...I didn't though." Him and Kid Cudi remind me of Kanye once he started taking himself too seriously. I feel like if you're going to present your lyrics like they're beautiful poetry, they can't be stupidly funny. I dunno, maybe I'm missing the entire point. But I just really think Drake is bad.

Just Blaze made a killer beat for that song though.

It reminds me of this Lil B track that had decent rapping and a great soulful beat

really wish Jay Z rapped on this track

His lyrics are lame, but I think that atmospheric production is on point more than not on this album, and usually he can flow pretty well over them.

Of course, this whole style is done to a far better degree in every sense with the Weeknd.

I agree, The Weeknd does it better. I think he perfected that post-808s and Heartbreaks sound so well that I don't see the point in listening to a full Drake album.

not yet but i've heard good things, I also liked Thank Me Later so i'm looking forward to my listen. It seems like the album picked bad singles though, i'm not too fond of Make Me Proud or Headlines.
