I know Nicolas Jaar is supposed to be a pretty amazing live act but does anybody know if the same is true for Darkside?

I'd think so. Harrington plays with Jaar on his "solo" live sets and if those are any indication of how the two of them might be on their own, it should melt minds. Check out this set:

I haven't heard it yet; didn't even realise it had been realised a few days ago and stumbled across it by blind luck. RA seemed to like it and hopefully you and I will too. I'm willing to bet it's as minimal as lunch with a stomach stapled dude, but either way, it'll still be filling.

Edit: Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Radar echoes Closer-era Plastikman while the rest of the album gives you typical Dettmann stylings... and actually, for minimal, it's actually not so alienating for the listener. It's much warmer than his debut album.

if its a berghain album, it's also likely a bdsm dungeon techno album. dettmann is fantastic.

really excited for the new album

chvrches album is pretty good so far, im in the middle of listening to it now. its like the perfect blend of chromatics and purity ring. really great stuff.

But yeah, it's totally BDSMcore :lol:. Really sounds like the lovechild of Plastikman and Basic Channel.
