I've heard that the leaks of Swans thus far have had one unmastered disc, is this true?

the one i uploaded is in v0. it sounds good enough to me, though the dynamics may be a bit turned up and the compression sometimes feels lacking in some parts. i am just going by earspeak and dont have the software to verify this.

Word, I'm gonna have to check that shit out then. I liked the first track lots.

Whoa. Would love to hear what you think. Psychocandy definitely going to be high in my top 80s albums list.

The rest of the album is largely better than Intro, and I love Intro.

i disagree there, and I would rate the album a lot higher if it was purely instrumental. Not that the singing is that bad by any means, in comparison to something like pavement, it's godlike singing, but I just get this feeling that no vocals would have made it more effective.

I disagree completely. The interplay between the two singers is the key component of the xx for me - really creates that feeling that you're hearing a couple have an intimate conversation between each other. They may not be technically amazing, but their tone perfectly complements the music.

Hey, this is like the 5th or 6th listen of the album for me, and I finally like it. Maybe I'll agree with you eventually. When I think of vocal intimacy between male and female, it's on something like 9 crimes from Damien Rice, this sounds quite hollow in comparison. My opinion, of course.

New Jens Lekman leaked. I'm getting it on what, but this should work:

While I disagree with you about The xx, I do appreciate your Damien Rice love.
