just started on this p4k list thing, i'm on the 1996-99 section and WTF are these options

they're going to become the rolling stone of the indie rock canon in a few years, mark my words

edit - nvm the 00's and beyond is quite better. i can see why people would only include a handful of albums from pre 00's

I generally don't mind Pitchfork reviews at all, but goddamn, it annoys me how consistently throughout their reviews they use the word texture to mean timbre.
