LC! have been really consistent over the years (even though they've changed their sound from their earlier releases. I can't imagine LC! c. 2012 ever making a song as bright and twee as what's on their first EP again), and I like all their albums about the same. Romance is Boring has most of my favorite songs of theirs, so I went with that one first.

Really hope some of you guys listen to some of the more out-there things I put on my list. At the very least, check out that Exploding Hearts album if you haven't. Probably the best pop-punk record of the past 15 years.

I'm not sure I care to give this Animal Collective album too many listens. They have enough other albums that blew me away on the first listen and continue to do so each subsequent listen. Sung Tongs, Feels, MPP, Strawberry Jam, cheaa

New xx is decent, a slight improvement over the debut. I wish they would have done something new with the vocals and guitar parts, those are precisely the things that left me feeling a bit cold last time. However, I really like the renewed interest in rhythm here, some of those beats are sick.
