That's disappointing to hear about H&LA, I was looking forward to that big time

didn't even know that shit leaked. And the new cut copy is more catered to the edm crowd imo, less melodic fervor and more about sustained repetitions with sublime production. I certainly quite like it.

It's not like I don't like repetition and rhythmic emphasis, I just find their take on it very pretty, but not really engrossing, affecting, touching, other emoshies tapping words. The climaxes and buildups are also really long, drawn out, and marginal.

I heard the Hercules on a link p4k provided that had it all leaked. just search the band name and i'll sure your find it, I just am too lazy to open a tab and would rather put more effort into telling you how to find it :banghead:

Leave it to Dan Bejar to make the sax cool again. Two thumbs up!

Tho I gotta say, when Dan Bejar sings things like "Sha-la-la wouldn't you say" and when he squeezes 20 syllables into a space fit for 10, I want to throw a brick at his head. Other than that I'm loving Kaputt.

hey batman you going to sasquatch this year? I'm probably gonna go dude, we should meet up. You just have to shake my hand, that's good enough for me.

Hey Batman, my friend directed a music video for one of the local bands around here, and I don't know why but I think it's got your name written all over it. It just sounds like something you'd like.

Wanta - if I go we should definitely meet up. I have less cash this year than last year, or any year really, so I'm gonna wait until the lineup comes out to see if it's something worth saving up for. It's kind of expensive this year. The three announced bands so far are Foo Fighters, Wolf Parade, and Das Racist, which is the most random three-band-assortment I can come up with. But yeah, if I'm there (and even if I don't get tickets I'll probably go for the tent parties at least) then we will meet up

Dips - That video was sweet. The song, I could see myself warming up to it. Not sure at the moment though

Anyone heard that Jamie xx song, Far Nearer? Really excellent song. Looking forward to that Gil Scott Heron remix album.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the song myself, though the bassline is killer. For some reason when I watched it you popped up in my head.

Watching some of their others, I actually prefer Kids which is totally awesome. It's cool though.

I've seen the video of them doing "Lisztomania" but that Ariel Pink one is amazing.

"Reminiscences" by Ariel Pink is one of the songs of 2010. I don't know what I was thinking at the time.
