The single Lykke Li put out a while ago is really good, got high hopes for her album.

Ok, this may not be the ideal thread (maybe a britpop thing? Whatev), but I need some help.

I do a radio show every Sunday night with a friend of mine. As part of the show, we do a feature on reissued albums. This week, I decided to do a feature on Suede (who is reissuing their entire discography).

The problem is, I'm not familiar enough with Suede to select a featured album (and ultimately a featured song).

So, hip DDDers, if you were selecting one song from Suede to feature on a radio show (with a very decidedly indie demographic), what would it be?

Just to let you know, we've done:

Grateful Dead "Cumberland Blues" (we're both huge deadheads, so we took a little liberty for the first show)
Bruce Springsteen "Streets of Fire"
The Dismemberment Plan "You are Invited"
Simon and Garfunkel "The Boxer"
Sonic Youth "Stereo Sanctity"
Tom Waits "Jitterbug Boy"
Nine Inch Nails "Something I can Never Have"
Dexy's Midnight Runners "Geno"
Suede ?

Oh man, I haven't listened to Suede in so long I'm probably the wrong person for this, but I'm sure anything from one of their first two albums will probably be pretty much what you want.

For Suede, since their 1993 debut self-titled album is their big important album, i'd pick something off of that and probably one of the four singles. "So Young" would probably be my suggestion.

first listen, and "Zonoscope" is no "In Ghost Colours." Not a fan at the moment, but IGC was so good that I'm not willing to give up on it.

not sure if this will be as amusing to the ddd crowd as it was to me and my homies, but my friend made a music video of one of my songs for his class. there are some really funny shots i think. either way, it would be fun if yall checked it out, because the song (which i made this summer) was my first attempt at making something funky.

http://vimeo.com/20025552

at least check it out to see me do the least convincing fake-yawn in acting history.

That shot where the camera circles you and you just continue staring at it made me uncomfortable and giggly.

Also love the way the camera lingers on you arranging the fries. Wonderful moment.

I actually consider this one of my favorite music videos I think, though I'm not an expert on that medium har har.

haha awesome I'm glad people were entertained by it besides me. It's the first music video my friend has ever attempted so there are a few problems - for instance in the classroom dance scene we weren't actually listening to any music. Not sure why he didn't think about that one ahead of time ha ha.
Another friend did another music video of my music for a class last year. I posted it once I think. The effects are sweet. But I look like a tool in it cuz I'm grinning the whole time.
