my friend's just as big a criterion nut as I am so we might actually go to this. Never been to Columbus nor Ohio. Beer with the Pappas?

Do you go to that Wexner center Led? They screen 35 mm prints of a lotta good shit. I see they're doing Nostalghia next month, damn.

I go there very frequently; I live only a couple miles from it. It's where I saw L'Avventura. You should totally come. Columbus is fun.

Three Rivers Film Festival starts today. A few interesting options, most notably Bastards, which I will be seeing tomorrow evening. :parrot:

Has anyone seen Pina? The trailer for it looks really interesting.

I was kind of bored with it. Nothing against dance or anything, I just don't think Wenders is that good of a documentarian. I only like Tokyo-Ga but that's because of its Ozu tie-ins. Plus I don't think it's worth it if you don't have a 3-D setup in your home, which it should be seen in.

Apparently the Indian population in my town has gotten so big that the local movie theater has started to occasionally show Bollywood films.

I'm actually more saddened by this than I thought I would be. He wasn't a particularly good actor but he seemed like a decent dude who helped entertain millions of people and left behind a wife and young child. RIP Brian O' Connor. Fast 5 and 6 are fun as shit and will be watched tomorrow.
