Nobody cares whether or not it sounds like The Beatles or Nirvana. Is that the only criteria you base whether or not you like a band on?

I think that The Beatles and Nirvana are way underrated on this forum, so Im just trying to explain why I think they should get more recognition.

The Beatles and Nirvana are two of the most beloved bands on this forum. The only way they could get more recognition is if every single post were about them. Give it a rest. Your crusade isn't doing either band any good. In fact, it's had the opposite effect. It's put some members off of those bands.

Tony MacAlpine's got a second guitarist in his band who takes many of the leads that he originally did on the albums. What surprised me is that the guitarist is a young woman, I think she's 22, and she's actually good! Not like that Orianthi person, but actually good at what she does.

There used to be a video of her playing a pretty awesome Timmons-inspired track she wrote herself and the bassist was none other than Bassfreak. She's very good, but that kinda goes without saying seeing as she's Tony's co-lead.

Kinda looks like MacAlpine is using one of Meshuggah's signature 8-string Ibanez's.

I didn't even notice that. Weird, he used to be a Carvin guy not so long ago.

Also, make sure you don't add the '&' or anything after it.

Screw it, here's the link lol

This is a killer performance of Coheed and Cambria with Warren Haynes trading off solos around 3:53
