I'd definitely remove "The Phantom of the Opera". I'd say there's a few movies more important than it and I'd probably go with "The Curse of the Werewolf" to replace it.

I'd also reverse the order of 5-7. TRoF has the best lasting reputation of the three. Between "The Mummy" and "The Brides of Dracula" the reputation is similar but the former is more popular.

The top 3 are pretty close but I'd have them in a different order. I'd say neither film has much influence. Initial popularity would maybe be JM > SA > AF, lasting popularity JM > AF > SA, initial acclaim AF > SA > JM and lasting acclaim probably about the same. Thus all in all I'd say it should be AF > JM > SA.

Then "Singles" should definitely move below "Vanilla Sky". Its small advantage in acclaim and influence doesn't make up for VS's big win in popularity.

The only change I'd make is swapping #'s 3 & 4. I'd say CA's advantage in popularity is bigger than B's in acclaim.

I'd say these five are in the correct order. I'll add the TV show "Time for Beany" at either #3 or #4. For 7-10 I suggest:

7. Beany and Cecil
8. Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid
9. The Big Snooze
10. Tortoise Wins by a Hare

Difficult. I'd say "Alias" and "Star Trek" should probably be swapped since ST's advantage in popularity seems to be bigger than Alias' in acclaim. I'd also add "Fringe" at #5, which appears to be both more popular and acclaimed than StiD.

"Jaws" takes influence, initial popularity and lasting acclaim. Lasting popularity probably goes to "Schindler's List", initial acclaim is about a tie.

I've just sent the following lists to lew: Boetticher, Crowe, Fisher, Ichikawa, Jordan, Luhrmann, Mambéty, McQueen, Richardson, Ruiz, Sayles, Shyamalan, Solondz, Tavernier, Zwigoff and the Jackson update. I've decided to wait with the Pialat update until the new TSPDT list is up.

No, "Jaws" wins it because "Schindler's List" wins nothing but lasting popularity.

I think lasting popularity and lasting acclaim are both very close.

No way is SL's lasting popularity greater than Jaws.

SL has more than twice as many ratings at the IMDb than Jaws. The IMDb's probably is as mainstream as an audience gets on an internet film rating site. On RYM the difference is much smaller but even there SL has almost 500 ratings more. RT though, which appears to have more film rating users than either the IMDb or RYM, has over twice as many ratings for Jaws, so all in all it's probably indeed about a tie.

I'd say "The Avengers" should definitely be above "Firefly". The former wins popularity easily and possibly wins initial acclaim. "Firefly" takes influence and lasting acclaim but neither by as much as TA's win in popularity.

Also "Angel" probably eclipses MAAN in popularity while the other criteria are about tied so I'd say it should sneak in at #5.

5. Digimon Adventure

I'd reverse the order of both #'s 1-3 and 4-5.

"Digimon Adventure" was the first installment of the Digimon franchise and thus easily wins influence. The rest seems rather close between the two.

As for the first three I just don't get it. Is their anything I don't see? SW loses acclaim against the two others and probably popularity as well. If any of the three has any influence it'd be TGWLTT for being Hosoda's first critically acclaimed feature-length film.
