Best written ep this season. Jamie going to Riverrun and return of Walder and Blackfish is best for business, and Sam is finally a player. What kind of player I have no idea but he's packing now.

Excellent episode. Thank God they are having Jamie travel to the Riverlands.

Anyone still holding out hope for the Benjen=Euron=Daario triumvirate?

The Benjen=Daario one is hysterical.

Speaking of Benjen, how many years have we been waiting for that confirmation?

Forgot to throw in Jaqen. He's normally included in that too, I think.

When did the first book come out? 1996, right? Twenty years. Shit.

Yeah, but if you're specifically speaking about Coldhands, 16 years ago was his first appearance. Btw, for the book readers, I don't think you should take this as confirmation that Coldhands is Benjen. It could just as easily be the show condensing characters.

The actor playing Walder Frey is great every time he's on screen.

Burn them all
Kingslaying
On the iron throne
Bloody hand

Arya breaking free was the best part of the episode. I was hoping for it from the first airing of the play last week.
Dany on the dragon was going a bit far though imo. We all laughed at that scene.

Very transitional episode but did see Benjen confirmed as cold hands (or at least presumably that's who he is supposed to be)

Nah don't think they're bringing him back. Could very easily be Septon Marbald (since we haven't seen Ian McShane yet)

Yeah taking the sword though that seems extremely dumb (also really unclear why Tarly is just sitting on his ass in his keep and leaving the sword up there)

Why would they introduce Septon Meribald if not to reintroduce the Hound?

Why wouldn't he leave his sword up there? He always leaves his sword up there. He knows Sam won't take it. I guess he might be worried that the Wildling girl would take it, but as far as he knows, she'll be working in their kitchen. Unless you mean that he'll come after Sam, which may still happen.

As for why, maybe he'll discover the secret of Valyrian steel?

Well he eased the Hound's passing but the Hound is most definitively dead in the books (though he may not be in the show)

Yes he will come after Sam). But more to the point he's a principal bannerman and the most important battle commander of Lord Tyrell. So why is he sitting on his ass?

Wut? He's described by an Elder Brother as being "at rest" but in the very same scene in the books there's a mute gravedigger who just so happens to be Sandor's height and build.
