Sorry if I said some harsh things. The situation upstairs is really bad with Liverpool right now regarding FSG and I can't really tell jokes from serious remarks at this point.

Rodgers used that same counter attacking style the next season and it wasn't nearly as effective because he didn't have the same personnel. It was the combination of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling that had a special kind of chemistry, pace, and skill to tear opposing defences apart and Rodgers took full advantage of that. If I really had to rate him, before he became a tactical fuckwad, he was actually a decent manager. Just not good enough for Liverpool. Then he just lost his mind after a little while. Pep on the other hand implemented a new style into a team and got the very best out of particular players like Xavi, Iniesta and Messi and he also implemented that style into another club in an entirely different league and was successful with it. I don't think he's the best manager in the game but considering how smart his tactics are, he's certainly up there.

If you want to hear my honest opinion, I truly believe FSG didn't axe Rodgers this summer because Klopp and Ancelotti were not available. And like you said, better to stick with Rodgers than going for someone worse. But they cannot let those guys get away. At this point with Klopp, it seems like it's either keeping our current transfer committee (which is awful) or hiring Jurgen Klopp as our manager. If FSG choose the first option, they are basically sticking a middle finger to every Liverpool fan on the planet.

I'm pretty much used to it at this point. Wouldn't be surprised if we get embarrassed by Everton this weekend. Very tough time to be a Liverpool fan.
