I hope he doesn't react similarly to teams playing defensive football, because he's not going to have a fun time in the Premier League if he does.

To be fair there is more football being played in the premier league these days... Fewer Sam Allardyce styled teams, and more high quality players.

Agree with you jFauser that Klopp is a great managerial personality for the premier league..
Needs to be at a top 4 club though and representing the premier league in the champions league...

I hope he gets to do that with Liverpool.

Have to admit I'm giddy as a schoolgirl over Klopp right now.

I hope the players are reinvigorated by the change the way the clubs fans have been...

As ol' sammy gets hired to turn sunderland from entertaining dumpster fire into mere stale coffee--drinkable, but unpleasant

At the same time that would leave Liverpool vulnerable to pacy counteracting teams like Crystal Palace.

Chiefly, though, my comment was directed at comparisons to Cruyff, who always has a massive bitch whenever teams defend in numbers.

I think Cruyff said something like he'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0, which should give you the idea without me explaining.

Cruyff is a nut. He slandered the 2010 side that should have won because they weren't positive enough despite it being a side that was un-Dutch in cohesiveness and honest in self-appraisal. Only difference between 2010 and 2014 at the end of the day was that 2014 were prettier in attack...still very structured, very defensive.

Anyway, back to klopp. Dortmund's team under klopp didn't see a lot of overlap, not a lot of interchanges. Everything is very uniform and efficacy is key - klopp doesn't give a shit about possession...move fast, pass fast, no such thing as only a half chance...think the opposite of wenger. i still don't see the quality that klopp is going to want/need, so hopefully he's given a fair amount of time.

But most of them are out on international duty.

Who will we start with against spurs you reckon?

Gomez and Ings have both done their ACL's and are out for the season.
Terrible luck for probably our two hungriest and most effective players of the season so far... :(

The Gods let us have Sturridge back, but only for an exchange.

Plus a number of our best players are injured and we're still doing good. Wait until we get our strikers back.

Solid games from Milner, Lallana, Sakho, Can, Clyne and Mignolet.
MOTM tight call out of Sakho, Mignolet and Can.
Skrtel made a few clangers and probably could've cost a few goals. Poor game.
Origi definitely not good enough but functioned well enough as a lone (fifth choice) striker.
Coutinho had a very quiet game.
