Shattered that I'm going to miss the game...
The maternity ward I'm staying in has 5 sport channels, but is missing the crucial sixth channel that shows premier league games.

We didn't, that's the most annoying thing. We're like Dortmund last season. Even playing well we can't catch a fucking break. The shithouse media aren't helping. I had to switch the BT commentary off midway through the game as you could hear them salivating over the thought of a Chelsea loss and Mourinho being fired even when it was 1-1.

I haven't seen it, but I can guess the kind of things he said and really this isn't anything knew. When he did it after the odd loss in the last few seasons he was praised for turning attention away from poor performances by his players and for creating a siege mentality at Chelsea. Now he's being roundly criticised for doing the same thing, albeit more frequently as results have been much poorer.

If it weren't for Vary and Mahrez my fantasy team would be in even more of a sorry state.

My fantasy site is completely bugged. All the players are all on top of each other and I can't make any changes. Still had a pretty good week, though.

So Mou out? What's the deal at Chelsea? What are we hoping for here? I've generally been impressed with the way they've played in most matches. Not that they've been unlucky in any sense but they lack penetration despite how often they've controlled matches. They also let teams off so easily on all of their attacks. Interesting season to say the least. The table looks cool as shit discounting the usual suspects.

I'm playing a 0-0-1 formation with De Gea as a lone striker. And I've benched the remaining team due to a dressing room bust up before game day a few weeks ago. It's a tough punishment but the played have to learn. I've also forced most of them to sit on the same seat while watching De Gea do his thing.

They won't get rid of Mourinho, if only because they have no one to replace him with. Even if they get a mediocre caretaker manager for the rest of the season, what Chelsea-caliber manager is available and willing? Simeone or Guariola? I doubt they'd want to manage at a club that will drop them after a short period of poor results, they'll want the longevity promised to Mourinho when he came back. Ancelloti? Chelsea fired him once already, so I'm not sure he'd want to come back. There's no one else I can think of.

As far as the deal is, I think it's the long term result of a late pre-season, resulting in general unfitness, and a lack of drive after winning the league last season. The early poor results that this caused has led to a huge confidence problem that only a string of wins can solve. I think Mourinho should take some of the blame, though. Playing Ivanovic and Fabregas repeatedly, despite both players causing far too many defensive problems and not creating enough to counteract their defensive frailty has been maddening. I also don't know what he was thinking today, trying to defend a 1-0 lead after they scored within a few minutes. I also wish he'd play the youngsters like RLC, Kennedy and Traore more often. If the results are shit regardless, it certainly can't hurt too much giving them some game time and they might actually give this team the necessary spark to start winning again.

that was the kind of presser i'd been missing from mou since he went to madrid. he didn't sound bitter or vindictive like he has.

he was just like "fuck it, nothing i can say will help, might as well just pull the rasheed wallace/marshawn lynch same answer to every question approach"

He had nothing to say at all. Nothing about the security of his job, nothing about the performance, nothing abut his team going forward. He just said no to every question and left.

Oh no, the horror.
