I'm with ya. Lower table teams can provide excellent value, except for Hull

It's always hard to pick which lower end team will break the curve and exceed expectations. Could Moyes do it with Sunderland?... All i know is it won't be Hull. Hull are in for a very rough year.

True but hull are hull and are in a messy state. Their owners seem to be trying to come up to the premiership and pocket the tv money and go straight back down.

Are you banking on Arsene signing anyone in that prediction FS...? I think it is so critical that they bring in a big name player if only to quell some of the frustrations on the fan base and keep players like ozil and sanchez around....

You don't think Moyes will be able to keep Sunderland up...?

I'm judging Arsenal and Tottenham's placement by previous seasons. Arsene has managed to keep Arsenal in the top four with very few new players on a consistent basis. Tottenham always manage to finish below them.

Sunderland have been dodging relegation for several seasons, much like Newcastle and Aston Villa who went down last year. Moyes is a solid signing, but I'm not sure he'll have the time to fix Sunderland's longstanding problems.

Messy first half. Nice open second.

Arsenal did well to fight back from 4,1 down but we took our foot off the gas.

Amazing free kick from Coutinho. I don't recall him having scored a free kick top corner like that before... hopefully a sign of things to come as we've missed quality from the free kicks since Gerrard left.

Mane looked quality. He's the pace, verve and energy we've missed since Sterling left. Cracking goal too.

The game provided more evidence why we should have let Moreno leave. Unnecessary penalty in a big game. Lucky they missed and then out of position minutes later for the goal. If it was a one off you'd let it slide but it's the trend in big games.

Arsenal need to sign defenders. It is inexcusable to be playing two unproven CB's in round 1. Ridiculous stuff.
