Pretty satisfying win FS? Some awesome football played by your lot lately. What did you make of the celebrations at 4-0...? |

Possibly the most satisfying game since the 6-0 against Arsenal a few seasons back. This 3-4-3 is really working for us and I'm surprised how quickly the team seem to have picked it up. It gives us the defensive solidity we were so desperate for last season, while giving creative players like Hazard, Costa, Pedro and Willian free reign to do their thing without having to constantly track back. Moses has been a revelation at wing back and I'm glad he's solidified his place in the starting line up. I've been a big fan of his since his Wigan days, was excited when we brought him and disappointed that he couldn't find a way onto the team after a solid performance to help win the Europa League under Benitez. Similarly it's great to have Luiz back, who was one of my favourite players during his first stint at Chelsea. He's the perfect player for the middle CB in a back three as he's given some freedom to move into the midfield to press or play out from the back, and even his more mental roaming forward can be covered by Cahill/Azpi/Matic/Kante. I'm still buzzing from this result, to be honest. Hopefully this form will continue when we run into a team with a bit more quality and or discipline than what Hull, Leicester and Man Utd showed. As for celebrations. The team reaction to Kante's goal were really endearing. It epitomised a truly united team for the first time in over a season and Luiz hugging the diminutive Kante was kawaii as fuck. Conte was well within his right to exhort the crowd to make some noise, as they were getting drowned out by the away section despite being well in front and the players putting in a brilliant performance. Mourinho's reaction was kinda petty, but I can see where he was coming from. It must've stung to get so comprehensively beaten by the team that he couldn't get to perform last season. I just wished he'd taken that on the chin, rather than criticising Conte for it in public. I still really like Mourinho, but I get the impression he's worn out and over stressed. Perhaps if he can't perform with United a year or two break would help him clear his head and get back to his best. He's a world class manager and it would be a shame if his legacy was tarnished by the sort of results and off field negativity he's displayed for the last 18 months. |

All fair comments from FS there, can't argue with anything there. Shambles from United though. |

Soo short list for Ballon d'or has come out. No Kante N'Golo and no Ozil: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballon_d%27Or_2016 |

Yeah, CL and Euro 2016. I think he's got this one tied up. I can't wait for him and Messi to retire so the Ballon d'Or can't be predicted by a coin toss. |

Fs. You didn't read into those celebrations as the players being thrilled to get one over on Jose? There was reason to celebrate being Kantes first goal but for the was more in that reaction imo. For me it confirmed there had indeed been bad blood there with the players despite what had been claimed. |

I dare say a number of our players really wanted to beat Jose's team, but I don't think they were overly disproportionate for a team starting to get good results and beating a big team like United. The Kante celebration was largely because that's his first goal for Chelsea from a player that doesn't score very often. Similar scenes accompanied Mikel's first league goal. |

Loved Firmino's goal, also our next run of fixtures until Christmas should be easy to keep up with the top of the table. Any other year those would be the kind of games that'd fuck us over. |

I'm really loving what Conte's done with this team. November is going to be the real test though, with Everton, Tottenham and Man City back to back. |

Here's hoping we both beat City. I'm usually confident against them and now that we're even better and Tottenham beat them using the same style of football I'm still confident despite them being so good this season. |

Yeah, City are looking more and more beatable compared to how they started. Without De Bruyne their attacking play can be readily stymied and their defence looks shaky, partucularly against a high press. Stones and Bravo hsve looked very unsure of themselves at times, so mistakes can be forced. |

Griezmann scored a nice one. Reminded me of Michael Owen vs Portugal. But Rostov almost immediately equalized. |
