I really don't see the point in wanting to pursue khedira (who is being overrated so hard right now) when you already have Henderson. For the same reason you gave for Liverpool pursuing Reus. |

I honestly don't see Reus or Khedira going to Liverpool. Wouldn't really make any sense. |

I simply don't understand why we would spend so much money on a position that is stacked with young talent when there are other positions that need a lot more help. And what makes you think I'm jumping ship on Henderson? I've said it from time to time and I'll say it again, he WILL be the next Lampard/Gerrard for England. He is developing into one of the best CMs in the BPL right now because of all the things you said. I didn't list him because he isn't a winger. Sometimes he would play wide left or wide right but he wouldn't really wing if you knew what I mean. He's best in the center mid role next to Gerrard. It didn't work out with England but it works well for Liverpool. Many of our fans are saying we lost the title race because Henderson's suspension and how it left that role unfilled. Because that's how Brendan Rodgers likes to play up top - wingers convergin on the box, and with expectations to challenge for all 3 titles you're going to need depth, and if you get reus, that leaves you still with only two proven players at the position. I really don't see the point in wanting to pursue khedira (who is being overrated so hard right now) when you already have Henderson. Liverpool don't need "proven" players to challenge for the title. Last year showed that. We only had one world class player on our team and were a win away from sealing the Premier League. Coutinho, Sterling and Markovic will wing. Lallana will play more of an attacking mid role but will wing too. Reus is a world class player. If we want to sign a world class player it should be either a centre mid or a defender. Or a striker to replace Suarez would make more sense like Benzema who I want the most right now. It has to be a position we need. Reus just doesn't make any sense to me right now unless he actually wants to come to the club. And given the fact that he said multiple times that he wants to stay in Dortmund, and the fact that we're offering everything we have for him, it doesn't really seem like Liverpool is the first thing on his mind does it? And why did you compare Khedira and Henderson? Khedira can play a holding defensive midfield role. Henderson doesn't play further than the centre of the pitch. He's a box to box CM. Liverpool need a guy that can hold for 90 minutes. Khedira and Gerrard doing that together would be fantastic. It used to be Lucas Leiva but his form has massively dropped over the years. If your goal is to finish in the top four, I guess you'll be fine. Khedira and Henderson essentially play the same game, that's why. |

Yeah, bones, that's exactly what I've been saying - bring in marco reus and you have the title. My point is I don't see how you're drooling over benzema and khedira when they're both highly overrated, and you're blasting a legitimate world class player to mitigate the one 'pool lost. Edit: not blasting reus himself, but the possible move. |

If Celtic get by KR Reykjavik which we should as we won the first leg 1-0 in Iceland, then we have either St Patrick's Athletic or Legia Warsaw in the next round, with the 2nd Leg in Glasgow and i'm home for it, oh fucking yes |

We need a player like Torres or Suarez. I.e big potential, and at a club where becoming the best at LFC could be a step up. I would love to have Reus, but I think he's an unrealistic target. Already a bit too world class. |

I'm sort of hoping we might have a chance with Isco if Kroos and Rodrigues are heading to Madrid and nobody else has departed yet... |

My buddy was in Vegas only for 3/4 quarter finals. Lost half my stake on btts Germany v. France, broke even by taking Brazil straight up, then threw everything at Messi to score, and lost there. If he were there for the r16 I would have won, but that's gambling! |

I always liked Dunga. He won the Copa America with you guys (Mickey Mouse tournament, but still). In 2010 you comfortably rolled over most of your opponents and then lost to the Dutch in a very bizarre, fluke game. He'd certainly get your defense straightened out. |
