I haven't really had the time to follow MLB much yet this season, so I just checked the standings to get a general picture, and LOL @ Dodgers

The Diamondbacks are quietly a good baseball team. #12 in position player WAR, #8 in pitching WAR. Paul Goldschmidt nearly the best 1B in the league. 3 starters with an xFIP under 4, all 5 starters under 5. Currently have 4 position players with a wOBA over .400, including Goldschmidt, Gregorious, Chavez, and Hill.

Hill has only played 10 games due to injury and the other guys you named all have high-to-highlarious BABIPs (as does Gerardo Parra, their other big-time hitter thus far). OTOH Miguel Montero and Martin Prado are as due for improvement as they are for regression. Point is it's still early.

Even with their ZiPS RoS wOBA's (which are arguably conservative) they would all finish north of .330 for the season. We're a sixth of the way through the season at this point, and even with their averages the rest of the way all of them would have had very good MLB seasons by most standards. All of them except Hill have already contributed a WAR to their teams before the All-Star break, so it shouldn't be hard for them to beat the 2-WAR MLB average. Goldschmidt in particular is a good candidate to get four or more since he's always had power and has showcased decent plate discipline since he came into the league.
