the Brewers fan in me is telling me to disagree but it's hard to make an argument for Randy Wolf, he's such a volatile pitcher. The Giants though have Madison Bumgarner, he's a very good #4, I think i'd rather have him than Worley.

Bumgarner is really our #3 (and the 2nd best in MLB after Hamels). But our #4 Vogelsong has been better than either Oswalt or Worley. Doesn't matter though since we've decided to skip the playoffs this year.

Giants aren't going to be in the playoffs though. I was limiting it to NL playoff teams.

fWAR derives from FIP and xFIP, and Lackey's isn't so awful thanks to his roughly 2:1 K/BB ratio. They gave him a 1.1 mark. bWAR has him at -1.0.

Honestly if making the playoffs means TLR is back for another year then I'd prefer the Cardinals not qualify for them. Playing the Phillies in the first round isn't enticing, anyway.

I guess everyone gets runs in Colorado cuz of the physics of the ballpark, but damn, why couldn't the Giants be hitting like this a month ago? Gahhh. Well it don't matter because they're in the midst of a huge comeback and we will definitely be in the playoffs.
