I wouldn't be overly worried, the seeds of doubt have been sown already in the minds of the England batsmen I suspect.

Also, what the hell is with all this Australian pessimism/mithering/fretting. It doesn't suit you. Please sort it out, I need my natural order in life. Thanks very much.

Well, I won't have to stay up watching the cricket quite as long tomorrow, looking on the bright side of things

 Suck on that Collingwood.

Serves England right for not realising that Bell needed to be batting up the order.

Surely Collingwood will get dropped for Melbourne?? Bell needs to be at 3.

For us...well Ricky will be thankful Mitchell Johnson, Watson and Hussey have stepped up because they've basically saved his captaincy. Great result for the series and for cricket.

Nick, take solace in the fact that no matter how quickly England get bundled out tomorrow, they still won't get smashed as badly as what India will in the first test against South Africa!! I love AB DeVilliers...one of my favourite current players. What an innings!

I'd be surprised if Collingwood was dropped but stranger things have happened. On balance I think I probably would axe him. Can't pick him on fielding alone.

Hopefully India can salvage some pride in their second knock.

It's what he does best. Well, that and seeing off the new ball. And emptying grounds if Hayden is to be believed

I'm mildly embarassed we're getting rolled over by an attack that includes someone who looks like he puts away several fried breakfasts a day but I suppose I should be used to that after Merv Hughes doing a number on us on a regular basis.

Coming in to bat with the game over and smashing up Suresh Raina? Hardly.

You'll have to excuse the curmudgeonly tone of my posts today! haha

Eh a century in a session is impressive in any situation.

But AB is a top class cricketer. Best fielder in the world (and owner of the award for best run out in history) and has turned himself into an elite batsmen. I just get the impression that he's the sort of guy that has made himself the absolute best he can be...and in the process has become a lot better than many other players with perhaps more natural talent.

Yeeees, but I'd be placing a * next to this particular one.
And yeah, AB's alright I suppose. He just got the highest South African score didn't he. Mind you it was against Pakistan. It's not his fault the standard of bowling attacks around the world is so poor at the minute, but it does stop me getting too excited about his play. I'm not sure how he's gone against England in the past. He doesn't stick in my mind so thinking his record is not all that great (no Graeme Smith at any rate) but I may be wrong.

Yeah because a players record against England is the real yardstick of a career these days.

His record against England is good though...average of 46 in 13 matches, and 48 in England.

On the other hand his record against Bangladesh in 4 test matches is terrible...averages 17!!

Conclusion: Bangladeshi attack is almost 3 times better than England's.
