He is? I guess there was the whole line-judge-kicking incident last year at Queens. I've been a fan for years, though, and while he struggles with motivation a lot, he can play some absolutely astounding tennis when he's in form.

Well, that was one of the worst matches I've ever seen. Jesus.

I'm a fan of Nalbandian and consider him along with Federer and Gasquet as the best looking and generally most elegant and all round player on court.

This is true. Questioning the gentlemanly credentials of this man is caddish.

Love a bit of Tiger Tim. If he's not giving us a heroic bit of serve and volley, he's serving up a brilliant meal that even makes the Federer's gawp in amazement.

i was a fan as a kid. too bad he'd not be a top 50 player in the current times, with serve and volley being a dead art. I actually love Llodra cause of it, he's got a fantastic serve n volley style which is very entertaining to watch.

Rafa was certainly very good.

If he concentrates a lot more on clay in the next few years to save his knees he will win a ridiculous number of tournaments.

Rafa vs Fed coming up, though Fed should kill himself if he loses this one.

I watched their 2 R4 matches and based on that I reckon Rafa will win easy (despite the fact Gulbis ran him close).

Fed seemed to be having trouble with his back...couldn't serve with normal speed or accuracy and was struggling to move to his forehand. And he needs to be able to serve well to have any chance. These courts are very slow and high bouncing so I see Rafa being very successful with his normal game plan.

there;s a reason he's a 2 time champ and 3 time finalist here i guess.

Well Federer has won it 4 times himself and beat Nadal pretty easily in the semi final last year.

But that was in cold, windy conditions, which kept the ball low and forced Nadal to play flatter to get close to the lines.

I'd give Federer a pretty good chance if he was fully fit, but from what I saw yesterday he was definitely struggling. And in normal conditions this court is very suited to Nadal's tactic of getting the ball high on Federer's backhand. It's one of the slowest and high bouncing hard courts on the tour.

yeah, all you said was right. I give nadal a good chance against Berdych too, cause he's usually very effective against him. There's no way Djokovic isn't winning this.
