think lonzo will for sure make multiple all defensive teams in the future. has his point of attack and fighting over screen issues but his length, activity, hands and intelligence are just great. to say nothing of his rebounding. and he's a 20 year old rookie. remember when he was supposed to be a bad defender lol? still see idiots who say so

ball, simmons, bell, bam, collins, and i'm sure i'm forgetting some, but the defense in this class is somethin.

I guess it's not technically impossible Dame could be the best player on a championship team but he would need an amazing supporting cast. And he'd be the least individually great "best player on a championship team" of my lifetime as a fan except maybe Chauncey in' 04

Idk, if we made a hypothetical 4 man core with the best players possible with the one condition being that none of the others could be better than Dame, would those 4 guys be better than the Warriors 4? I can't imagine that's possible especially since I'm not positive I'd even rank Dame over any of those 4 to begin with. And even if you rank him above Klay and Draymond, you still could not have a top 10 player on that team. So you may get Dame-Beal-Hayward-Towns? I can't say that's beating the warriors. If you stick someone like Butler or PG on that team, then I'm not gonna say Dame remains the best player on it.

man it's crazy how well toronto has drafted and filled in their roster. ridiculously balanced team, even with norman powell falling off/getting figured out.
