Yeah this isn't like Spygate or the Bounty scandal (did the Saints lose picks?) where it was a somewhat team-wide conspiracy. If one guy fucks up once you just fine him, I know he's the head coach but I don't see how you can take away picks without proving he intended to do it (which I don't think you can prove). |

He's arguably the best Safety in the league, but he's also on a truly elite secondary in every facet. If a unit could get awarded MVP, I'd say give it to Thomas, Sherman, Chancellor and Browner. Even though Sherman's cocky dickheadedness can get the best of him at times. |

For non-QBs, anybody besides Calvin Johnson? I get what you're saying here, but I'm not sure I have faith that Brock Osweiler could make the Denvers anything more than an average team. Yeah I know. Despite the offensive weapons I think a lot of backup QBs would have a hell of a time playing behind that line. Though the Packers w/o Rodgers aren't an average team...they're a BAD team |

Does the any NFL have positional MVP awards as well? They should. Thomas would get the Safety award this year for sure (runner-ups the two Erics, Berry and Weddle). Haden wins the Corner award (yes I'm still on his dick). |

They have the All-Pro team (so not necessarily one guy for every position but pretty close). |

Thomas is really kind of what makes the whole thing go though. They can play the way they do because of Thomas' unique skills. |

If I were to pick one of the 4 as most valuable, it would be indeed be Thomas. And while Sherman's physicality as a corner stems from his cocky demeanor, he can be a bit undisciplined at times, which was mainly what I was getting at. |

I only saw the last 6 minutes or so of last night's game, but good god is Matt Schaub awful. He missed Johnson and that 4th down when he was wide-open for a good 3 seconds, and then that last pick was clearly just a read of the linebacker, and when he didn't do what Schaub expected, he couldn't even figure out to just throw it to the (wide open) guy that the read mandates. It's like if it's not just standard cover 2 he's completely lost. |

OK loving this Lions-Eagles game. Wish I had known about the weather because I probably would have picked the Lions |

Lions have been totally jobbed by the officials in this game. |
