There are a lot of teams who won't pay him what he's worth. It's a deep draft for receivers and Jackson's headcase issues are well-known. Granted, his issues were known when the Eagles drafted him and re-signed him. But keep in mind that the Eagles got zero trade offers, so I wouldn't expect a bidding war.

Hopefully not Dallas

He's a thug, he'd fit right in there.

Racists for what? I have no idea whether he's affiliated with gangs or not. I'll give him the benefit of doubt and say that he's not, since I don't know much about it and it's probably just media speculation. But it's a fact that he's a greedy locker room cancer. Dallas loves thugs and locker room cancers historically speaking, so I'm sure he'd fit right in there. If he is a crip, then even better of a fit.

Well the fact that you would say he's a thug even though you have no idea if he's a thug is where the racist accusation would come from. A "thug" isn't a douchebag, it's a violent criminal, which DeSean Jackson is not. Do you not remember the Richard Sherman thing? Calling someone an asshole is fine. Calling someone a thug when they do/have done nothing thuggish is based on a stereotype.

Second bold: How much of a fact is it? DeSean has gotten far from due process with this whole thing as far as public opinion goes. It is worrisome that he got cut but still nobody really knows why.

Edit: I'm not calling you racist and idk if corrections was even serious.

He got cut because Chip Kelly doesn't like dealing with him and the management think he's not worth what he's being paid. It's not all that complicated. The alleged ties to the crips--something that was known when he was drafted--was just a convenient excuse for the timing.

I thought "thug" was being used in a different context than "violent criminal." Sure, the literary definition may be violent criminal, but the word is tossed around constantly with meanings more similar to a general douchebag.

Are we really questioning that Jackson being greedy is not a fact? Is his demands for raises constantly even when his performance didn't dictate such enough of an indicator? The fact that he constantly grabs for money tells me that he likely isn't the best teammate and is probably more of a "me" guy than an "us" guy.

I wasn't serious initially especially with regards to joe but now I'm definitely calling the Jew out. Pretty much you're using thug as a stand in for nigger (this is what Sherman was talking about). As for Jackson he's one of my least favorite players and he seems lousy in the locker room. That doesn't make him a thug. As for Dallas loving either cancers or thugs that's pretty bullshitty particularly as regards to the current team.

Yes and one which is generally always used in reference to black players. It's a stand in for the n word.

Very few people in the media called Ritchie Incognito a thug, at least not nearly as many as Sherman or Jackson. Something to think about.

Also there's the fact that nobody calls Jared Allen or J.J. Watts a thug, when they both have pretty similar personalities to Sherman.

Incognito and Roethlisberger I'd surely term as a thug. Apologies for being ignorant to the fact that it's only used towards black players with bad reputations (something I'd never even thought about to be honest).

But Christ, please don't berate me for something I said mostly in jest.

My initial "racist" post was in jest. Then you followed it up with something that indicated there was an actual ignorance of the appallingly racist charge behind thug

Though white hockey players are frequently called thugs.
