:freak: cleveland kept trading around to pick justin gilbert--i guess they're planning on getting carr or bridgewater later. if minnesota gets manziel then that would be pretty entertaining to watch him with adrian peterson.

Browns have a defensive minded coach. Not surprised, and it's not a bad pick either.

Now that Manziel just got selected by the Browns, their first pick looks like a pretty smart move. I don't think anyone expected Manziel to wait this long though.

I think the Browns decided to take a huge risk and it paid off.

I dunno, there's just something that sounds wrong about selecting a corner in the top ten when you desperately need a QB or WR. They basically had Watkins. It sounds even stranger when Joe Haden is already with the Browns too. It's not like it was the most needed the position. Not even close.

And they got Manziel anyway

Was hoping the Bears would take one of the safeties but Fuller seems pretty good. Aaron Donald was so close tho. At least I've heard of this guy.

Hmm, with Minnesota trading up to grab Bridgewater with the last pick of the 1st round, I wonder if we'll take a QB at the start of the 2nd round. Do the Texans dare to draft another QB named Carr?

ha ya ive never said "hey browns nice job drafting players". maybe ill eat my words but their moves were pretty genius if they actually thought manziel would drop. im assuming they would have drafted bridgewater or carr if manziel was taken but manziel is better than those two. thats gonna be a really interesting team to watch. blake bortles pick was dumb they shoulda got watkins instead.

and what was up with that pats pick? some dude with a torn acl. they usually dont screw up their first round picks but as it stands i dont like it at all.

They're lucky the 2011 draft happened the way it did or else all those QBs would have been gone by the 20s. Manziel's definitely got the best chance to succeed now just with Gordon and Cameron there. I can't say precisely why but I'd wager on Manziel and Gordon being a damn good combo.

because gordon's really good and manziel will be able to move around enough to be able to throw him the ball deep down the field. i honestly think they'll be a playoff team at least by next year if not this one. im probably gonna keep jordan cameron for my fantasy team now. i dont really have any good options. i got green who im clearly keeping and then i was gonna keep stafford but i can just draft him.

Risky pick but huge upside if he stays healthy

Man it'd be awesome if Timmy Jernigan fell to the Bears at 51. A month ago he was supposed to be there pick at 14. He fell because of a failed drug test; I'd take that risk.

reports are saying josh Gordon is facing a season suspension for a failed drug test. i don't even know what to say. I almost feel bad for manziel.
