I would agree with the no PI call if officials were consistent with shit like this, but there have been many PI calls throughout the season where barely any contact was made, the defender was trying to make a play on the ball, and got called for PI. Due to this, I do not agree with reversing the call.

The thing is, with shit like this, it is consistent. The defender was making a play on the man. The contact wasn't excessive, but it wasn't minimal either.

They probably should have thrown two flags. One for the defensive PI and one for the illegal hands to the face. They would have offset and I believe third down would have been played again. But it seems like they never saw the hands to the face.

Dez Bryant should have been flagged for running on the field without his helmet to yell at the officials, but I think that's the kind of thing you don't call with the game on the line. Detroit also should have gone for it one 4th down, but I think that's closer to a coin flip decision.

Raiders have been interviewing some decent prospects. I would be happy if either Pep Hamilton or Jack del Rio was head coach (both who have been interviewed recently)

Really glad the Bears reportedly have no interest in Shanahan or Ryan. Shanahan hasn't been that great without Elways, and Ryan would basically be Lovie (great D, no O) with a temper.

You think so? He's done a great job with Andrew Luck but yeah maybe he isn't fit for the head coaching job. At least Del Rio had that experience in Jacksonville.

He was also his QB coach at Stanford. But yeah I do agree that Luck played a lot better under Arians.

Out of curiosity did they like playing under Harbaugh or did they think he was too much of a harass? Also did they ever offer an opinion on how his specific hardassness would work with grown men? I'm just still trying to rationalize how the 49ers would want him to leave.

Bears hired Ryan Pace (Saints) as GM. Meh, I really wanted Ballard (Chiefs) as a million "sources" said he was by far the best candidate and the Bears would be stupid not to hire him. Word was Pace was pretty dead set on getting promoted to Saints GM, but apparently the Bears convinced him to take their job. Seems like a good thing but I don't really know.

They're supposed to interview Bowles today for DC, don't know whether Pace will already be at the interview but I really want Bowled. Young, badass, and with some head coaching experience.
