Rudy Rules wrote: It is a terrible hell to be a Canucks fan. This is why we riot when we lose game 7 It could be worse. You could finally win the lottery for once and pick as high as you've picked since your team moved to town but it be (i) the worst draft in more than a decade, and (ii) one with only two sure talents. |

Damn you St. Louis! It's going to be a sucky non-traditional hockey team with an ugly college hockey looking uniform in the Western Final! If it's Nashville-Anaheim, damn it! I want the Edmonton Oilers now to go to the Stanley Cup final. Any one of the four eastern teams would be okay with me for the final, but I'm hoping the Washington Capitals will come back and finally win the Stanley Cup! |

T-Mac wrote: If you're from Ottawa, why wouldn't you want the Sens to win it all? I'm fine with Ottawa, Edmonton, New York, Pittsburgh or Washington winning the Stanley Cup! If Ottawa wins, good, because they have not won the Cup in the modern era. If Washington wins, good, because they have not won the Cup yet. If Edmonton wins, good, because they have not won the Cup since 1990. I'm hoping for an Edmonton-Ottawa final, or an Edmonton-Washington final. An all Canadian final would be great since a Canadian team has not won the Cup since Montreal did it in 1993 against the Los Angeles Kings. The last all-Canadian final was in 1989: Calgary Flames vs. Montreal Canadiens. Calgary won the Cup. This year is Canada's 150th birthday. A lot is going on in Ottawa, including the outdoor Winter Classic in December at the Old Ottawa Civic Centre / TD Place / Lansdowne Park. If New York or Pittsburgh wins the Stanley Cup, good because Anaheim and Nashville have ugly uniforms and are non-traditional hockey cities. No to Anaheim and Nashville. |

Damn you Washington! Ottawa-Edmonton for the Stanley Cup! Maybe Edmonton-Pittsburgh (Gretzky-Lemieux). I'd rather see an all-canadian final this year. |
