who are you texas tech?

after beating ou on the road they lost to iowa state 41-7 at home and today they lost to texas 52-20. (i went!). texas is developing a badass smash mouth offense. i saw jonathan gray at the game when i was walking to my seat. he's the top rb recruit in the 2012 class and just set the national td record i think. he's little, but ridiculously fast and agile. a backfield with brown, gray, and bergeron with dj monroe and goodwin runnings sweeps and end arounds is going to fucking dominate next year. the latter two literally have world-class speed. and on top of that our leading receiver is jordan shipley's true freshman little brother, and our qb is a true freshman with a really high ceiling. texas easily has the youngest team in the top 25, and they're the only team in the country who's leading rusher, passer, and receiver are all freshmen (true freshmen in this case). and their second leading rusher is also a true freshman.

those were pretty long field goals that were missed, especially for college where missing the xp isn't exactly uncommon. not their fault really. they should have been in better positions.

Yeah but that last one was a horrific miss.

With the game being close there's going to be tons of rematch talk. Fuck.

Purdue lost to Wisconsin 62-17. By my super-advanced calculations, Mizzou would have lost 63-16.

lsu-bama rematch would be cool imo. boise state will get throttled by lsu, and i'm not sure that even andrew luck will have a good shot at beating them, mainly because i doubt his receivers will get open and not because i don't think he's good enough to compete against lsu's d. i'm pretty confident lsu would dominate osu also. i think the only team with a good shot at beating lsu would probably be texas.

but seeing boise in the nc would be awesome anyways, though they have no shot with the computers working against them. honestly any of the #2-5 teams plus texas against lsu would be a good ncg. i'll be satisfied. lsu is my #2 favorite team anyways. geaux tigers! \m/

LSU's D got run over by West "by God" Virginia so I think the best QB in college football could find points against them.

with the amount of teams in college football, why would you ever prefer to see a rematch? to see five more field goals? I'd way rather see a new game. I'd love to see LSU play Stanford (assuming Stanford beats Oregon this weekend, which, I hate to say it, I think they will). It would be really cool to see Boise State play them, but that won't happen.
