You know I sure as fuck wish our leagues W/R spot was a true Flex spot and allowed the playing of a two tight end offense. Want to start both Vernon Davis and Tony Gonzales and my flex is a bit week (it's so great the Julio got knocked out for the year!)

VD wasn't doing much for me - the weeks I had him he barely pulled 5+ points. I was banking on him becoming a wideout for the 49ers basically. Julius Thomas is much more consistent. Antonio Gates has been more consistent as well. Didn't pick him up initially because I didn't except Rivers to be able to lead a team again this year.

Yeah I don't care what he did when you had him. I care about his ability compared to my flex options.

i have that same pin my league. i have jordan cameron on my bench with tony gonzalez playing. id much rather have cameron start than mike wallace who i have in my rb/wr spot. in most years, i dont have the problem of having two tight ends worthy of play and most teams never do but i grabbed cameron late hoping hed be good trade bait. earlier in the year i traded jimmy graham and a. brown for tony gonzalez and aj green. best trade ive ever made pretty much but i still have the problem of having two worthy TE and one spot.

Really glad my league's flex spot allows TEs as well. Although it doesn't benefit me since I didn't even have a TE who's worthy to start until I traded for Greg Olsen. I had an opportunity to pick up Charles Clay earlier in the year but passed him up like an idiot.

Someone in my league just dropped Marques Colston. He's underperformed but I'm definitely gonna use my waiver claim to grab him. There only 3 people above me in waiver claim. The guy who dropped him, a guy who never logs on to update his team, and one other guy who logs on about once a week. Good chances that I'll get him.

Yeah my other league allows both and I have Witten and Julius Thomas so I've used the option occasionally.

MJD vs. San Diego or Eddie Lacy vs. Cleveland?

Edit: And Josh Gordon vs. GB or Mike Wallace vs. Buffalo?

Cutler has -6.5 points for me right now, and got injured and limped off to be replaced by McCown. If he doesn't come back then I'm royally fucked.

I'm certainly doing my best to help you out with poor lineup decisions though.

Well even with the help of Cutler and Foster going down I'm on shaky ground right now. I'm up 10, he's got Prater going now, and I've got Cruz going against Nicks tomorrow. So I gotta hope Denver finishes drives, and that Nicks loses Manning's trust early.

I'm very happy that Manning has been throwing so much to Decker. Joe gets points but I get more (btw this really illustrates the uselessness of the projection systems for NFL.com because Decker only got 4 points in the Madden simulation). Also needed just one Thomas TD to clinch my other game for the week. I've still got Wayne, Richardson and Thomas going in that one but now I'm ahead and he's finished. I've still got Peterson in our league and am up by 40 so looks like I may have 5 game winning streaks in both of my leagues.
