Although he's not really a main villain per say, I always thought Dr. Mercer from the first Dead Space was great.

Great to see Ansem on there, honestly I would have him higher, definitely above Magus. Actually, it should really be Zeal rather than Magus, at least that's how it seems to me.

The Final Fantasy franchise is filled with great villains, surely Kuja or Exdeath could take the place of some of the placefillers. Hell, Maleficent was pretty frickin' awesome herself.

I question putting in side-villain type characters aswell, which is why Pyscho-Mantis isn't on the list

Ansem is one of my favorites! I took off Magus for now, I honestly don't know a whole lot about Chrono Trigger. As for Final Fantasy, I was also thinking about adding Seifer aswell.

Absolutely. Though lets not forget Lavos is the real bad guy of Chrono Trigger. Yakra XIII is a rat bastard as well.

and Liquid Snake was the villain of Metal Gear Solid.

Yakra is a side villain, and Lavos doesn't have any character. It's kinda like the Moon from Majora's Mask in a way, though he is pretty goddamn terrifying.

Lavos does have a character. Absorb everything, kill all life and move on. It's like the aliens from Independence Day really. Zeal should be above him, or rather it, but he ought to be there to.

I'll also suggest Osmond Saddler, though he should be rather low as he's a charming little bastard.

Question, how does one suggest the bad guy for a game who's name you can't really reveal, otherwise it would spoil the hell out of the game?

I was very close to putting one of the bad guys from Resident Evil 4 on the list. Maybe like a nickname? Which game are you talking about? And if the game has been out for at least a couple of years I dont think it would be a big deal.

Guess. and its just coming up on it's one-year anniversary of release in America. Even if it was a little older, part of the problem is that most of Nintendo's bad karma has kept people away from it, so it's still kind of this best-kept secret.

Edit: I went to google translate see if it would switch to Japanese characters, but for whatever reason I had translate from italian to english and the final boss's name translates to "Mosquito." :lol:

That's not character, that's action. I would also like to see a list of greatest movie villains with the aliens from Independence Day on it.
