Two things I was curious about while we are waiting:

1. Do we want to wait a few months or so before doing 2021 list?

2. How deep do we expect to go into the 1980's? Are there enough "good" games to fill ten slots in each year (I'm especially thinking pre-Super Mario Bros).

'Good' is subjective but I think ten siginificant games each year of the 1980s is doable. Earlier than that, we can stop. I am down for doing 2021 once the year is over. Also, should Genshin be added to 2020 list? That thing is huge.

Looks much better. I'm thinking maybe Castlevania could be above Civ 1. Should beat it in popularity and maybe acclaim? What do you guys think?

Also thinking MK could be above Tomb Raider. More influential and I think more popular? The first Tomb Raider does not hold up at all graphically and is almost unplayable today in my opinion.

I really don't think MK has a clear win in influence or popularity. And it's really not like MK has aged much better.

I don't really agree with MK being more influential than Tomb Raider. The latter helped establishing PS1 as one of the greatest and most successful consoles and introduced arguably the most iconic female protagonist in gaming.
