I know Ocarina is more acclaimed than Super Mario 64 (and not by an awful lot), but wouldn't the latter have wins in both popularity and influence? |

I don't know about acclaim, yes, Super Mario 64 is v acclaimed but Ocarina of Time is kinda Citizen Kane of gaming. Ocarina is also cited as inspiration by a plenty of game developers, so I don't think gap in influence is particulary big even if Mario was first. |

ManPerson wrote: I would have Pro Skater and Rayman. I agree, I thought we kind of agreed that Rayman was the "unofficial" 11th slot of that year since we took it off the top ten. |

Lock on targeting, automatic jumping, traveling by horseback, context-sensitive buttons, etc. SM64 is easily more innovative and was more directly copied, but I can't say that is doesn't demolish OOT in influence. |

Man, Sherick, and BooBoo - are you creating your own lists, or do we want to work off Tim's list of 25 entries?? I have some thoughts but I want to see everyone's lists first. |
