Looks good, I'm comfortable with the #1 slot. I would maybe consider switching Guitar Hero and Hitman. It easily wins acclaim, I think it sold better, and possibly influence. GHII also did better with industry awards:

Guitar Hero II:
Metacritic: 92
GameRankings: 93

*6th best selling PS2 game of 2006 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_in_v ... ware_sales)


Hitman:
Metacritic: 81-83 (based on console)

*no mention of sales or industry awards on wiki that I could find

What about meta score? Does IMDB count for acclaim, and not popularity? Isn't it a fan-created service? This is why I am confused:

I'd say number of ratings is an indicator for lasting popularity, the rating itself for audience acclaim, similar to how we do it with movie lists.

Interesting...well according to the stats: Metacritic, 1Up.com, Gamespot, IGN gave Guitar Hero a better score, but if that is not enough I am fine with that. I'm ready to move on to 2005.

That's for initial acclaim which Guitar Hero obviously wins. Metacritic doesn't seem to include many retrospective reviews.
