Dishonored. Love love love.

Dishonored is so heavily and wonderfully inspired by Thief. I am ecstatic. Eavesdropping on conversations between guards again in a Steampunk setting, oh, how I missed you.

Clash, which is the best thief game? I may give them a go.

I just found a link last night where you can purchase Thief Gold, which is basically the first Thief game (Thief: The Dark Project) plus three extra levels, for ten bucks. I'll post the link here when I get home. I think Thief: The Dark Project and Thief II: The Metal Age are equally great. And by equally great I mean hands down the best games I have ever played in my life. One of the great things about those games is how the plot slowly reveals itself. And the world they create is absolutely enthralling.

Whoops. I was so preoccupied playing Dishonored last night, I forgot to do that. I'll do it tonight.

Started playing killer7 and I have no idea what is going on.

It's like the guys who made Dishonored wanted to make the perfect game for me. In other words, a game just like Thief. Except the Dishonored dude is much more formidable in a straight-up fight than Garrett is. I replayed a scenario where you confront three assassins at least a dozen times because it was so entertaining. And the AI is so impressive that each battle was pretty different.

Fallout 3 and Dishonored back to back. Both contenders for top ten favorite games of all-time for me. Awesome.

Nice. I really really enjoyed my play thru of Dishonored as well. The one gripe I have with the game is that once you've beaten it, if you go back to play a level, you don't keep all of the abilities you've earned. You have whichever abilities you had the first time around. I really wanted to go back to early levels and play around with my jacked up guy.

I've been really stingy with my runes. I'll save my game and be like, "Okay, let's try the Stop Time ability here."

*spends runes to gain Stop Time and uses it to take out a few guards*

"Cool, so that's how that works. Okay, now I'll reload my game and do that without Stop Time."

But I've kept Dark Vision and I eventually decided to upgrade Blink.

Blink and Dark Vision are really the only ones I like to use all the time. The others can be cool, but just didn't interest me htat much.

Dishonored reminded me of nothing more than BioShock. Dishonored is much less clunky, though. Really glad that Dishonored is proving that new IPs are still viable late in console cycles. I've never agreed with that statement.
