Do NOT watch the second season. If you have already, I am forced to wonder what mind altering substances you were on to award an A+ rating to that series-ruining abomination. |

The second season wasn't that bad. The hyperbolas hated of R2 is becoming a little over the top. |

I'm not being hypberbolic. I loathed R2 and it had a detrimental impact on how I now view the first season. I cannot fathom why it is so highly rated on many anime sites. |

I have actually seen a few episodes and a film from that series though, so I can comment to some extent. |

That's because you're a very strange person who seems to evaluate as the correct way to do the show as everything that the first show did. It is unfathomable to me how someone can actually dislike Brotherhood much less someone who already likes the characters from the first show. |

It is weirder than me loathing NGE though since that's not tethered or related to another show. Your reasoning is weird because it takes the original FMA as basically the only correct way to do the show and then judges a distinct work for not living up to that way. FS loathes R2 I believe because it is actually a part of and totally destroys an existing show. |

I believe on its own Brotherhood is above average. I've admitted I can't judge it properly due to my connection to the original, but that's where I stand. I compare it to the original because it is connected to it and is apparent that the creators created it with the original in mind visa vie the change in structure of the first episodes. But that's neither here nor there. Besides, I've never said I hate Brotherhood, just that it shrinks in the light of its far superior predecessor

I'm the one who hates NGE that you were referring to Sherick (at least I think so, since I hate it more than anyone else here I think). Also, Code Geass is the most fantastic anime ever and the 2nd season is as good if not better than the first. It doesn't matter since the show isn't meant to be separated. It's a whole, and the whole is fantastic, though it has a few flaws. |
